Copyright and Takedown Policy

Indie Torch (indietorch.com) is run by Orosfort Private Limited ("Orosfort", "we", "us").

Reporting infringement

If you believe something on Indie Torch infringes your copyright, email hello@indietorch.com with the subject "Copyright notice" and include:

• The work you say is infringed, and where we can see it.
• The link to the content on Indie Torch.
• Your name, address, email and phone number.
• A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by you, your agent or the law.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

What we do

We review valid notices promptly. We may remove or disable the content and tell the person who posted it. We will forward your notice, including your contact details, to them.

Counter-notice

If your content was removed by mistake or you have permission to use it, email us with the subject "Counter-notice" and include the link to the removed content, your name and contact details, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the removal was a mistake, and your signature. We will pass it to the complainant. Unless they tell us they have started legal action within 10 business days, we may restore the content.

Repeat infringers

We close the accounts of people who repeatedly infringe copyright.

Trademarks and other claims

For trademark, impersonation or other rights claims, email us with the link, who you are and why the content is a problem. We will look into it.

False claims

Do not file a notice unless you are sure. Knowingly false claims may make you liable for damages.
