Last updated November 8, 2026. Indie Torch uses the cookies and storage it needs to work, plus analytics cookies that start on your first visit. You can opt out of analytics at any time (see below). We set no advertising cookies.

Indie Torch (indietorch.com) is run by Orosfort Private Limited ("Orosfort", "we", "us").

What we use

Session cookie: keeps you signed in. Set when you log in and removed when you log out or it expires.
Sign-in confirmation cookie (it_sent): short-lived. Lets the sign-in page show which address we emailed without putting it in the URL.
Theme preference (it_theme): stored in your browser's local storage to remember light or dark mode. It never leaves your device.
Cloudflare Turnstile: the bot check on sign-in may set a short-lived token so it can tell people from bots.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics, loaded through Cloudflare Zaraz, to understand how the site is used. It starts when a page loads and may set cookies (such as _ga and _zaraz cookies) and receives your IP address, pages viewed, outbound link clicks, votes and device details. We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregate page counts, which uses no cookies.

Opt out

Opting out stops analytics in this browser and removes the analytics cookies. We remember your choice in a cookie called it_optout, so do not delete it if you want to stay opted out.

Third-party sign-in

If you choose Google sign-in, Google may set its own cookies on its own pages. See Google's policies for details.

Managing cookies

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the session cookie you will not be able to sign in. Clearing site data resets your theme choice.
